Chunky Knits

As it starts to get colder out I love wearing all of my oversized knits and sweaters. They are always so comfortable to wear but great pieces to pull a look together. With so many options out there is can be a little overwhelming to start looking, so I chose a few sweaters that I found that I fell in love with!

When styling a look with a chunky sweater I like to go by a few rules for myself. Now this is just my personal preference when putting a look together so feel free to wear it anyway you want! 🙂

Chunky Knit with a Skinny Jean

When you have a very baggy and loose fitting top I always say to wear something much more form fitting on the bottom. Whether it be a fitted skirt (any length can work here), or a slim pant, I think this will make your body shape look much more flattering and feminine.

Chunky Knit with a Wide Pant Leg

This is where I love a cropped sweater. When you have a wide leg pant it’s better to show your waist in order to give your body shape. If you have an oversized chunky sweater that you want to wear that’s not cropped then I love tucking the sweater in on the side in the front to show your waist. This gives your body better proportion and it won’t make it seem like just one big rectangular shape.

I hope this was helpful when shopping for the coming winter season!
