Miami Travel Diary

Miami water

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing great! I know this weather here on the east coast has been brutal but I’ve been able to escape to Miami for a bit recently. I won’t lie with the timing it couldn’t have worked out any better. It’s so cold in NY that most people are not leaving the house unless absolutely necessary. While my family has been freezing over there I’ve been lucky enough to be able to relax by the pool!

This was technically my second time in Miami but really I count it as my first since the I was here as a baby and don’t remember much. I love the overall vibe here. It’s so chill and sunny even during these winter months that I can’t help but have some weather envy!

We started our first two days of course shopping! We went to Bal Harbour Shops, a luxury shopping mall, and they have all designer shops there. I have to say the sales were so much better than in NYC!

The next day we went to Aventura Mall where I picked up a few goodies. You will definitely be seeing some new outfit posts of me wearing them once it gets a bit warmer in New York. I did post a picture on Instagram of one of my new sweatshirts I purchased from Scotch & Soda. I really have a problem! I’m so obsessed with their clothes I swear. If anyone is reading this who works with the company please contact me! I would love to do a collab. 😉 Back to the sweatshirt, it was on sale for only $48 and is still available in the Miami store at Aventura.

We ended the night by going to the movies to see ‘All The Money In The World’ but before that we had some dinner at a great Italian restaurant. I’m not joking, they had the best coconut sherbet of life!

Since the weekend was coming up we knew we wanted to enjoy some nightlife so we spent the days by the pool. It was so nice just being able to relax in the sun especially knowing that there was so much snow waiting for us back home!

On Friday and Saturday night we really wanted to go dancing. If you’re ever in the Miami area and want to dance to great Spanish music you should visit El Patio. We literally danced the night away. I was so sore the next morning! We ended up at E11even nightclub after and the following day went to Liv. They’re all some great spots and I recommend you to check them out.

I’m so sad to have to say goodbye to Miami but I’m excited to get back home, even with all the cold weather. I really miss my Emma! Also I just created a new Instagram for my wired haired dachshund. She is such a character that I thought I have to get on this! Her IG name is emma_my_mema so go follow her!

Let me know in the comments below if you’ve ever visited Miami, I’d love to know!
