Printed Sweater

Im here once again to share another outfit post for you all! I had a lot of running around to do this weekend and by far the most important thing that was on my mind was comfort. There was no way that I was going to be on my feet all day and not feel good in what I was wearing.

A lot of times when I go shopping I really try to find pieces that I don’t already have in my closet. It can be a lot harder than it seems because my closet it quite big already! However, I don’t want to keep purchasing the same pieces over and over again and then leave them in the back of my closet forgetting about them. A perfect example is this open sweater from Scotch & Soda. Now I know what you’re thinking, Scotch & Soda again?! Yes, I have a serious obsession with their clothing! They always have unique pieces like this sweater. I love the print with the navy and cream color combo. I feel that pieces like this can be thrown on with almost everything but it adds something special to the look.

If you’re not someone who is comfortable with buying clothing that has loud prints but want to dabble in trying something new, I recommend to sticking with prints that have neutral colors. You’ll be able to mix and match them with many other pieces that you already have in your closet and it’s a good way to get more comfortable with wearing something that stands out a bit more then just basic colors.img_8300

I paired this sweater with some ripped jeans. As long as the weather still allows it, I want to get a chance to wear as many as I can before it gets too cold! I also thought this was a perfect pair to add more detail to this outfit. I really am a big believer when it comes to details in any look. I believe that’s what people will see the most when they look at what you’re wearing.

AND FINALLY THE ACCESSORIES…

This is always my favorite part when I’m putting a look together, all the little accessories that come into play. I kept it simple with the jewelry because I wanted the focal point of this look to be the sweater. However, I added some detail with a navy bandana to my bag and some light bracelets to add some pop of color. img_8249-copy

Let me know in the comments what you think, I’d love to know!
