Fall Flannel

Everyone always says you should not wear white after Labor Day and I never really understood why. People say it’s because the weather doesn’t really permit it, especially when it starts to rain and snow, but if it’s sunny out then why not right?! It might be November here in Brooklyn but it was warm enough for me to just throw on a warm flannel button down and I thought why not pull these white jeans out for this look!img_3475-copyimg_3523-copy

[columns size=”1/2″ last=”false”]I know I’ve mentioned this in previous posts that when you’re looking for a boyfriend fit always check out what the men’s section is offering but I can’t emphasize enough how much better men’s clothing can look when wanting something oversized. This wool flannel button down from J. Crew is perfect to throw on as a light jacket. It’s an XS so it’s not too big but I love the extra long sleeves and how I can still fit another sweatshirt underneath for a more layered look. [/columns] [columns size=”1/2″ last=”true”]I know some people get a little nervous to pull out that summer white denim but when it comes to fashion and style I think you should always follow by your own rules. There’s no reason you can’t pull off a white jean in the winter if you pair it with the right colors. As you can see winter hasn’t come just yet but even when it’s time to get all bundled up I still think that a white jean can look great with nude colors when layering. [/columns]
