Silk tops are such an elegant and easy look to pull off that it’s something I believe everyone needs in their closet. I’ve always been a bit hesitant in the past to purchase silk only because of how there is more maintenance in keeping them looking new and fresh. However, I’ve totally caved and realized that they’re just too good not to have.
This top is from Matta and it’s a clothing company that has a very unique and simple style that can be worn in so many ways. I paired this top with white jeans and a few accessories including this bag that I actually made myself! I recently mentioned that I’ve been sewing quite a bit and this is one of the pieces I created with some leftover denim jeans that I turned into cutoff shorts. The strap was a gift from my cousin who does amazing work as well.
I also recently went to Century 21 and picked up this hat from Bailey of Hollywood. If you’re looking for a brand that has great hats in this style for an affordable price I really suggest you look into them!
